There are simple steps you can take to prevent falls and decrease falls risks

Our Physiotherapists run six morning and three afternoon classes per week. These circuit style classes consist of a combination of strength (weights), balance and mobility exercises. The classes are very social with clients often catching up for coffee afterwards.

Classes are designed for persons aged 65-95 with:

  • Balance issues
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Low Bone Density
  • General stiffness and inactivity

A pre-exercise consultation with a physiotherapist is essential to assess current and previous injuries, medical history and strength and balance tests. Health fund rebates apply if you have Physiotherapy cover and the class code is 561 for mornings and 560 for afternoon classes. You should check with your fund if you are covered for Physiotherapy classes.
